These reservoirs are an extremely versatile, highly efficient and light weight solution for the storage of large volumes of fluids on-board ROVs, skids and other subsea deployed equipment. The design is based on a low pressure floating piston accumulator. As standard, the reservoir piston is fitted with an array of encapsulated rare-earth magnets, which allows for accurate level/volume measurements either by an externally mounted indicator or from an integrated LVDT sensor. The design of these reservoirs allows for the connection of low pressure water supply to seawater end of the fluid reservoir to provide a constant positive head to the hydraulic system for on-deck and workshop operations.

– Suitable for use with a variety of fluids including: mineral based and environmentally friendly ester based hydraulic fluids; Water glycol based controls system fluids; Monoethylene glycol (MEG); Methanol; Seawater.

– Max Working Pressure : 2 BAR (29 PSI).

– End caps can be populated with any type of port to suit specific hydraulic connection requirements.

– Concave piston design, allowing no restriction to through-flow (even when completely empty).

– Modular design, allows connection of multiple reservoirs to provide large total volumes.

– Operational temperature rating: -20 to 90 Deg C

– Internal sealing element materials: HNBR & PTFE (other seal materials available upon request to suit special applications).

– Max depth rating: 3000m (limited by level sensor)

– Light weight design; featuring carbon fibre or polycarbonate cylinders, engineering plastic piston and aluminium end caps (316 SS end caps also available)

– Available in custom sizes to suit exact requirements:
o Various diameters from 6”up to 18” in lengths up to 3m
o Typical 100L 12in diameter reservoir: 1.8m Long

– Corrosion resistant material materials used for all components (316 Stainless Steel, hard anodised Aluminium).

– 4-20mA / 0-5V LVDT level measurement option.

– Externally mounted visual volume indicator option available (can be used instead of or in conjunction with LVDT option).
